Rosenstiel's continues to invest in new technology and ways to improve visitors' experience of our website. Recently, we added a number of new functions to www.felixr.com and although most of them are self-explanatory, we have detailed the way in which a few of them work here.

Log-in It is now possible for trade clients to register with us and receive a log-in name (which is usually your email address) and password. To log-in, simply fill in your log-in details at the top of any page of the website. By logging-in to www.felixr.com, you can view trade prices in your preferred currency and send us orders securely. From time to time, we will be offering special promotions on our website, which you can take advantage of by logging-in and ordering online. To apply for a log-in account, please visit Order.
Pay Online for Orders Rosenstiel's now takes orders and payments online from customers with trade accounts. To apply for an online username and password, please visit Order.
Lightboxes Visitors to the site can continue to use the lightbox for selecting and reviewing images in the usual way. It is now also possible for clients to save images within their lightbox from session-to-session by logging in with their username and password.
Ordering via Lightboxes To order using the lightbox, simply log-in to the website and select your prints by using the button on the page to add them to your lightbox (you will see a running total next to the Lightbox link in the menu bar). When you are ready to order, visit the Lightbox page, review your order and click submit.
More Images Per Page The standard number of images shown per page is 12, however, we have now added an option within search results to change this to either 24 or 48. Simply click on the drop-down menu at the top of any search results.
Multiple Print Options We have changed the way we display images with more than one print option. If images are available with multiple print options, e.g. by size or colour, a small notice now appears under the thumbnail image within search results. To view details of each print option, just click on the thumbnail.
New Images We publish new images daily and to make it easier to view them, we have amended the way in which our 'New' page works. You can now see all the new material we've introduced this month, and last month, and the month before that.
Advanced Search Page Refine your search of over 6000 prints on this important page, which you can reach by clicking the link next to the search box on the navigation bar. There are a number of different search options available and you can use any combination to narrow down results. We have listed a number of the options below. Please note that you will need to reset your old search by hitting the 'Reset' button before starting a new one.
Search by Colour Use the colour palette on the Advanced Search page to search for images by colour. Every relevant subject in print is described according to its colour values.
Search by Standard Size Use the dropdown boxes on the Advanced Search page to search for images by standard paper size. As you know, we show our sizes in both centimetres and inches and please note that the site underlines whichever of the two is accurate. For example, a print may have a paper size of exactly 20 x 16 inches, which we would show here also as 50 x 40 centimetres. However, for your convenience, we will underline the inches measurement (thus 20 x 16 ins) to show that the print is sized precisely in inches, not centimetres.
Keyword Hints Every image is keyworded using standard words for both its subject and theme. As part of this process, we've included a list of the top 100 keyword terms in the Advanced Search page, which we hope might be helpful to you when you're thinking how best to search the site.
Licensing We now have online over 17,000 of the images from the archive of decorative art which we've assembled since our foundation in 1880. Only around a third of these are available as print items from stock but users looking for images to license, or for unique prints, can view them all on our Licensing page.
This site has hundreds of pages, more than 45,000 images, dozens of graphics, millions of words of text, an unbelievably complicated search code and a huge number of different links doing different things in different ways. We have endeavoured to iron out any glitches in our site but do please let us know when you do find something not quite right, or if there is anything that you would like to see on our site.
