Capturing the moment...

Foxhounds at Rest captures the moment after a days hunting, when the hounds are tired but not quite asleep.  Often, it is a scene that only a few people other than the huntsman get to see of a particular pack and it is one that the artist cherishes.  The hounds in this image belong to Church’s local hunt and are Portman Hunt hounds.
