DECEMBER LICENSING BULLETIN
At Rosenstiel’s, we make a great deal of the fact that we publish around 700 new pieces a year, usually in response to highly contemporary themes and trends in the housewares industry. This means that much of our new material at the moment is either photographic or fairly abstract in nature. Yet, you might be interested to know that our most popular artist around the world at the moment is actually Valeriy Chuikov, who paints in the very traditional theme of classic florals but gives each of these a contemporary twist. We call this style “transitional”, where a modern interpretation is made of a traditional theme, and you can see a full selection of Valeriy Chuikov’s work, which is perfect for licensing onto other products, if you click here. |

Another new artist published by Rosenstiel’s this year has been Julian Askins, who has proved to be far more popular than perhaps we had expected for licensing projects, not only in America but around the world. The slightly impressionistic feel of his largely Mediterranean landscapes and seascapes seems to have struck a particular chord and, having published 8 designs as prints earlier in the year, we have had such a positive response that we have requested a new portfolio from Mr Askins for 2008. Again, these images are perfect for products other than prints and you can see the current set by clicking here. |

Christmas You are probably not selecting for Christmas at the moment, but since Christmas is coming we thought that you might like to be reminded of the existence of our archive of around 400 Christmas images. We do not generally catalogue these because of course they don’t sell as prints all the year round, but the collection is all shown on the website and ranges from beautiful traditional museum pieces through to the most contemporary (indeed some quite odd…) colourful Holiday designs. Here is a link to the full set. |
