Rosenstiel's is delighted to bring you such an unparalleled collection of this important artist.

Archibald Thorburn (1860 - 1935) is regarded as one of the greatest painters of birdlife of all time. Thorburn’s work created such an impact because he was one of the first British wildlife artists to paint and sketch in the open and from life, rather than in a studio and from stuffed samples. His work reached prominence in the late 1880s and since then, it has continued to grow in popularity amongst collectors. Prices at auction for his original watercolours have often fetched between £50,000 - 80,000.

As with all Rosenstiel's Superior Edition Gouttelette® prints, each copy is accompanied by a certificate, which has been signed by the Master Printer.

We also have a few copies left of limited edition prints by Archibald Thorburn, click here to see the collection.
