Artist Biography
Samuel Alken was an English engraver, born in 1750.

He devoted himself in particular to illustrations of topographical works, including his Views of Cumberland and Westmoreland (1796), and Views of North Wales (1798).

Alken worked in London between 1780 and 1798 and he died in 1815.
