Rosenstiel's has around 4,000 different open edition prints in stock at any one time. The different collections illustrate an unparalleled selection of attractive and affordable images for every taste, budget and decorative scheme. The prints feature traditional and contemporary subject matter, including a selection of the world's finest artists, from the great Old Masters to some of today's most talented designers.

Giclee Prints

The giclee printing process uses images that are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates

Printed onto the highest quality archival substrates and using only very specialised inks, our prints have the remarkable colour saturation and continuous tone characteristics one would expect of an original painting.

Our prints are produced on acid-free calcium carbonate-buffered archival watercolour paper or onto fine archival-quality cotton canvas coated with an acid free primer. On light-fastness, the ink and paper combinations generally used meet the standards of both the Fine Art Trade Guild's blue wool scale and those of Wilhelm Imaging Research in America.

Gouttelette®

The Gouttelette® print is the next stage along the evolutionary chain from the giclée. This entirely new digital printing process, exclusive to Rosenstiel's, combines huge technological developments in the printing world with the traditional expertise and years of training of our own craftsmen.

This system allows us now to print reproductions of the very highest quality and fidelity to the original. Gouttelette® prints can be published exactly to the customer's specifications. We can be fully flexible on the size, the shape and the material.

Print on Demand

Most of our Range is available as Print on Demand. This option allows you to have any artwork to your most precise specifications. Mirror effect, colour change, crops, are some of the modifications we can add to the image!

Limitied Editions

Limited edition prints provide an affordable way to own the work of the best contemporary painters and photographers. Limited edition images have restricted print runs to create rarity for the collector and each limited edition is individually quality-checked and hand sorted, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.

Limited editions are published in standard offset lithograph format and also in other exciting media as silkscreens and on canvas.

Meduim and Substrate

Rosentiel's craftsmen have the skills to print on nearly any substrate to the highest standard. In addition to the usual Paper and Canvas, we can also print on exciting media such as Silk, Glass, Metal, Wood, and so many other ones! We also have the possibility to add some metallic leaf either gold, silver or bronze!

Colours and Sizes

Every possible care has been taken in the creation of this website to match the colours of illustrations with those of actual prints. However, colours do not always reproduce exactly and there might be colour variations between illustrations and prints.

Sizes provided are as accurate as can be reasonably provided. However, dimensions should be viwed as a rough guide only. Please do not manufacture or order frames based purely on sizes provided on this website. Rosenstiel's reserve the right to change sizes when reprinting.
