SUBMITTING ARTWORK

Rosenstiel's carefully considers all artwork sent to us with a view to possible publication. To review artwork, we initially welcome submissions sent to us by post at:

Felix Rosenstiel's Widow & Son Ltd.
33-35 Markham Street
London SW3 3NR
United Kingdom

or by email to sales@felixr.com.  Please note though that images sent by email look different on different monitors and print differently on different printers so may not always do justice to your work.  The total file size of your email and attachments should be less than 2MB.  Many artists also try to persuade us to view websites but we prefer initially not to do this because low resolution website images on screen are rarely good enough to allow us to judge your work fairly.

When posting material, please send photographs, transparencies, catalogues or digital files on CD.  Original artwork should not be sent under any circumstances.  It is not possible for us to review artwork in the first instance on a personal interview or portfolio presentation basis.

Please also tell us when submitting artwork whether you have large high resolution digital files available of your work, together with the maximum size of these files.  This helps us to consider how we would publish your work and the sizes in which it could be published.

If Rosenstiel’s has not published your work previously, we also need to know when you submit your work whether you have ever been published elsewhere, not only onto items of wall décor but also into other formats like stationery items, or if you are a self-publishing artist.

All artwork submissions are treated by Rosenstiel’s as submissions for consideration for publishing as items wall décor, which may include printing onto linen, canvas, silk and other substrates, as well as onto paper.  It is not practical for us to consider work where there would be any restrictions in place.

Artists submitting work do so at their own risk; we cannot be held responsible for any material which is lost in the mail, etc.  No submissions will be returned unless the correct UK postage and packaging is supplied.  We will always try to provide a response to a submission within eight working days, even if that response is that we would like to test your work for a longer period.

Rosenstiel's is a commercial publisher and we cannot become involved in recommending galleries for exhibition purposes, giving a critique of work submitted or providing other support services.

Our requirements are primarily for artwork of a decorative and commercial nature which will appeal both the general public and to interior designers decorating homes, offices, hotels and other institutions around the world.

Thank you for your interest in Rosenstiel's.  We publish hundreds of new images each year and we are always looking for the next ‘big thing’.  We look forward to hearing from you!
